There’s
so much information to share with you! It looks like we will have a very busy
and exciting month!

P.M.
Open
House for all preschool children and their families
is
Thursday, February 21st 6:15 P.M. – 7:15
P.M.
Children
and Teachers have been working hard on developmental records. You will have an
opportunity to review the progress that your child is making and ask questions.
During
the Open House, children will be able to show you what they’ve done in the last
five months and share their projects with you.
If you child has just started with us, it will be your opportunity to
meet with the teachers and other parents. Encourage your children to show you
around the class and explain what they do at school. That makes them very proud
and happy.

the list for each class for what to bring for the party
If your child is bringing in Valentines to
share with friends, here is what you need to do:

©If the Valentines come with envelopes, you can put them in the
envelope, but leave the front of the envelope BLANK, the same is with the card
– leave the front of the cards BLANK.
© Number of cards to bring:

Our families’ referrals are very important to us, and nothing is more gratifying than when satisfied parents tell a friend about My Room to Grow Preschool. It rewards all of our hard work, and we want to thank you.
You can earn
one-week free tuition by referring a friend to the center.
When the family
that you referred enrolls their child in our program, you receive a tuition
credit in the amount of their one-week tuition.
ILLNESS POLICIES
For the last couple of weeks we have had a lot of
children missing school because of illness. We hope that the “Flu season” is
over and we paid our dues to the “Flu bank”.
The school encourages safeguarding the
health of children and staff members by requesting parents to follow these
guidelines when deciding if a child is well enough to attend school. Your child
should not be brought to the School if one or more of the following symptoms
are present. When you are called to come and pick up your sick child for
any of the above symptoms, they may not return for 24 hours and until
all symptoms are gone.
My
Room to Grow has the right to refuse entrance to any child that is returning
from an illness. IF we notice that the child is not feeling well, but does not
have a fever, we may still ask you to pick up your child if your child is
looking or acting sick. In
the last two weeks a lot of kids were coming to school in the morning after
taking a heavy dose of fever reducer and other cold medicine. These children, usually, are not themselves,
sleepy or very hyper and overall miserable. We understand that it is very hard
to take time off work, but we have a responsibility to protect everyone in the
school.
